Here’s a wee brammer for 2017! Arrived in time for the new year celebrations. :o) I got the pleasure of cuddles and photographs at just 9 days new. One, two, three…. Awwwww. Congratulations again to the Burns family. xxx
Here she is… what a little angel. Nestling quite happily amongst the blossoms isn’t she? You wouldn’t believe there was not much sleeping to be had during our session judging by this wee face… but all the more cuddles for me! It’s not a bad job you know ;o)
How time flies… Recently had a lovely catch up with some old friends. This little man has grown up some since the last time I photographed him here! And now we are eagerly waiting for the new addition to arrive. It was a different challenge with a family orientated maternity session outdoors this time (quite […]
It was time for an amphibious adventure for Master Leon at his fifth birthday party last weekend. What fun! Happy Birthday Leon… we all had a great time. 🙂
It’s always interesting coming to the editing process with photographs… in fact in many ways it’s my favourite part (except for the fact I enjoy meeting and working with new people so much). But did you know that for every hour spent taking photographs, the photographer will most likely spent two to three times as long editing them? Sometimes longer. And not editing that makes you look less like yourself, but adjustments and enhancements that really help bring out the best in each image. For me, it can feel like an age old question when it comes to choosing whether an image looks better in colour or black and white. Sometimes you can look at a photograph and just know what will work, and sometimes you consciously shoot with a black and white finished image in mind. In other cases, you get photographs that can work equally well in colour or black and white. I often love both versions… as was the case with the following lovely family! Here are just a few examples of what I am talking about. Do you have a preference for colour or B&W? I would love to know why… leave me a comment below if you like. :o)
Hi there… it’s great to be back to blogging. It’s been a lot of hard work with photo sessions for my coursework project the last couple of months and I haven’t been posting on the blog much at all. It’s good to get going again. And I can’t think of a better way than with this little bundle of cuteness. Everyone with me now… one, two, three… Awwwww. :o)
Just catching up on updating the blog… Here we have another gorgeous mama-to-be, she did so well out on the windy beach that day. But it was so worth it for that fabulous setting! Oh and there he is… her beautiful little bubba newly arrived. Aren’t those lil fingers and noses just scrummy?!
So sorry I have been out of action on the blog for a while. You would be forgiven for thinking I have been neglectful. But I can assure you I have been busy busy busy in the background. Lots of bumps and babies coming up and hopefully, a brand new website to celebrate them all in the not-to-distant future. So there is certainly plenty happening… keep yourselves subscribed!
Over to the lovely Mr and Mrs C and their beautiful new baby girl. Oh my goodness… soooo cute. Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph this super special time in your family.
So, look who has all grown up then? Who remembers the beautiful first addition to this blog a year ago? If not check it out below. Hasn’t she just blossomed into such a gorgeous wee thing?! And such a little lady with her cake… totally precious. I had so much fun with this. Bring on some more firsts I say!
